Recovery Retreats on Enders Island are among our most highly attended retreats. St. Edmund’s Retreat has been hosting Recovery Retreats for decades. Grounded in the principles and traditions of the  Twelve Steps, many retreats focus on deepening our conscious contact with God, and all retreats benefit from access to the prayerful routines of our Community life and the natural setting of our beautiful Island.

Many retreatants return year after year to our annual Weekend Recovery Retreats, which are offered separately for men and women, beginning on Friday night and ending with breakfast on Sunday.

We also offer retreats for diocesan and religious priests, brothers, seminarians and religious men and women in recovery. These, along with all of our retreats are listed on this website.

St. Edmund’s Retreat offers sabbatical opportunities for priests, religious, and seminarians to find healing and hope from stress, exhaustion or addiction or to study methods in offering trauma-informed pastoral care in their ministries.
