NEW SACRED ART INSTRUCTOR

Robert Armetta taught a workshop that was presented exclusively at Saint Edmund’s Sacred Art Institute. Students were given the opportunity to learn from a master anatomist. Robert has taught artistic anatomy at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the New York Academy of Art. He is the founder of the Long Island Academy of Fine Art. Robert Armetta has studied extensively in the U.S. and in Italy at the Florence Academy of Art and the Angel Academy of Art. He earned his M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art, where he graduated with honors in 1998.

Robert Armetta is the 1st Place winner of this year’s National Eucharistic Revival Sacred Art Competition. You can see his painting "Entombment" here.
